Cathy Harder-Bernier is the Town Clerk of Hanover, Massachusetts. She won election to this role on May 11, 2013 and was reelected on May 7, 2016, and is thereby joyfully extending her over 20 years of public service to the Town of Hanover. As a connected and committed public servant, Cathy's goal is to bring the Clerk's Office into the 21st century, ensure fair and efficient elections, and maintain and preserve the town's historic records. Cathy pledges to bring as many of the traditional Clerk's business transactions to the town's website as soon as possible.

I ran for office because I want to serve the community of Hanover and bring the Clerk's Office into the 21st century. The challenges of the need for 24/7 access require a great deal of listening, bold leadership and hard work to find the right solutions.
