Re-Elect Cathy H-B and Support Hanover's Teachers

Regardless of where you stood on last year's Prop 2 1/2 override question, the failure of the question and the subsequent impact on the teachers of Hanover has made for a challenging year for those still teaching in our district. 36 positions were lost, including too many bright young teachers, and those who remained inherited larger class sizes, heavy teaching loads and too much stress. Half of the proceeds of this event went to the new Hanover Teacher's Association's Health and Wellness Fund, with the other half to the campaign.

As with past community fundraiser events that honored her father (the Marine turned small-businessman and call fire-fighter), the Committee to Re-Elect Cathy H-B honored her mother, a former teacher.

This event raised over $1100 for the Hanover Teachers' Association's new Health and Wellness Fund.
